Joe Reynolds

Practitioner

Joe’s background is as a cellist trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the University of Oxford. He has performed across Europe, from the Royal Albert Hall and Blenheim Palace to an Italian mountain-top.

After repetitive strain injury and an unsuccessful operation left him unable to play cello, Feldenkrais was the only thing that helped. By cultivating more diverse movement patterns and a greater awareness of unhelpful habits, Joe was eventually able to return to playing more freely than ever. He also found revelatory new enjoyment in walking, running and dancing. Inspired to share these benefits, he trained as a Practitioner. He has experience teaching Feldenkrais in Cambridge, Turin and Berlin and has worked individually with a wide range of people, including athletes, dancers and musicians.
