Lars Fischer

Founder

For years, Lars lived with chronic tension and abdominal pain that shaped his daily life and his work. What finally made a difference was Feldenkrais: not through greater effort, but through learning to move with less strain and more ease. Helping others find that same shift is now the focus of his work.

He works by paying close attention to how a person actually moves, then helping them find easier, more comfortable ways of doing what matters to them. Because his research examines why the method works, and not only how to apply it, he is able to adapt it to each client rather than following a fixed routine.

Lars is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and a postgraduate researcher at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He trained in law at King's College London and as a classical singer at Trinity Laban.

Originally from Switzerland, he works with clients in English, German and Swedish, and welcomes people from every background. He is also the founder of Voice in Motion, a Feldenkrais and singing studio in Greenwich, and a Committee Member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK.
