Neil Wetherell
Founder
Neil’s background is perhaps an unusual one for a Feldenkrais Practitioner, having graduated from the University of Kent (UC) and the London School of Economics (LSE) with degrees in Computer Science/Information Technology followed by a career in the Technology & Management Consulting industry.
He encountered the Feldenkrais Method after decades of hip pain. Following several surgical procedures and working with practitioners from a wide variety of disciplines chronic pain was a daily occurrence and impacting his quality of life.
The first Functional Integration (FI) session Neil received provided a glimpse into the possibility of being pain free & the ability to enjoy life again (exercise, hobbies, travel etc). He went on to work with Ryan Jansen, Scott Clark and Shelagh O’Neal and through a combination of FI and Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons unlearned the habits developed to compensate for years of pain.
Having graduated from the Feldenkrais Practitioner Training, Neil is excited to be in a position to help others help themselves through new ways of doing things.
