Meet The Team

Founder
Alice Laidler
Alice is a Feldenkrais Practitioner, movement coach and writer. After graduating from Central School of Ballet, she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and has enjoyed a varied freelance career which spans movement and choreography for theatre, film and TV.
Career highlights have included dancing for the Pet Shop Boys’ Dreamland Tour 2024 and coaching the female ensemble of The Royal Ballet for their latest collaboration with Lynne Page.
As a result of ankle surgery during her ballet training, she has an acute understanding of how pain and injury impacts physicality, breath and quality of life and Feldenkrais has been intrinsic to her own injury rehabilitation and teaching practices.
She cannot wait to share the method with those who visit the London Feldenkrais Collective!

Founder
Lars Fischer
Lars is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and researcher. Previously, he trained as a legal professional at King’s College and as a classical singer at Trinity Laban. He is the founder of “Voice in motion”, a singing and Feldenkrais studio in Greenwich, SE London.
Lars enjoys a freelance portfolio career, which includes teaching Feldenkrais, performing, teaching singing, offering language coaching for singers, and working as a legal advisor.
He is also on the Committee of the Feldenkrais Guild UK and currently a postgraduate researcher on the PhD programme at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, investigating the impacts of the Feldenkrais Method on classical singers.
As Feldenkrais has had a profound impact on his issues with tension, singing and general quality of life, Lars is excited to help others experience more freedom and comfort in their own body.
Originally from Switzerland, Lars can offer sessions in German, English and Swedish. His main interest lies in working with performing artists, voice users of any kind, and office workers.

Founder
Neil Wetherell
Neil’s background is perhaps an unusual one for a Feldenkrais Practitioner, having graduated from the University of Kent (UC) and the London School of Economics (LSE) with degrees in Computer Science/Information Technology followed by a career in the Technology & Management Consulting industry.
He encountered the Feldenkrais Method after decades of hip pain. Following several surgical procedures and working with practitioners from a wide variety of disciplines chronic pain was a daily occurrence and impacting his quality of life.
The first Functional Integration (FI) session Neil received provided a glimpse into the possibility of being pain free & the ability to enjoy life again (exercise, hobbies, travel etc). He went on to work with Ryan Jansen, Scott Clark and Shelagh O’Neal and through a combination of FI and Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons unlearned the habits developed to compensate for years of pain.
Having graduated from the Feldenkrais Practitioner Training, Neil is excited to be in a position to help others help themselves through new ways of doing things.

Practitioner
Joe Reynolds
Joe’s background is as a cellist trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the University of Oxford. He has performed across Europe, from the Royal Albert Hall and Blenheim Palace to an Italian mountain-top.
After repetitive strain injury and an unsuccessful operation left him unable to play cello, Feldenkrais was the only thing that helped. By cultivating more diverse movement patterns and a greater awareness of unhelpful habits, Joe was eventually able to return to playing more freely than ever. He also found revelatory new enjoyment in walking, running and dancing. Inspired to share these benefits, he trained as a Practitioner. He has experience teaching Feldenkrais in Cambridge, Turin and Berlin and has worked individually with a wide range of people, including athletes, dancers and musicians.

Practitioner
Felix Ma
With over a decade of experience as a personal trainer, I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel and perform at their best. Over time, I realised that true health goes far beyond body composition changes; it’s about how we move, sense, and connect with ourselves.
My own perspective shifted after receiving a Functional Integration session with Ryan Jansen, an experience that opened my eyes to the depth and subtlety of the Feldenkrais Method. Inspired by this approach, I undertook the four-year Feldenkrais professional training and now integrate the method into my work with clients every day.
Through this blend of movement education and experience, I help people discover greater ease, awareness, and resilience in how they live and move through life.
